Dreams and Christmas

On Dreams, I like how you mention it is possible to think in a totally different way. It's like reading a novel or watching a movie, but in your own mind. It shows that we can create internally an entire universe, and indeed all novels and creative works emerged from someones mind.

I can't believe I had to leave Christmas early, but at least we had a wonderful dinner together, I love that place.

How fun! One of the things that makes the holidays special is all the parties to attend! It sounds as if you are getting in the mood. I am trying to ponder this years holiday poem...I did get the paper, it looks pretty cool. You remind us what to look forward to! Hugs!

Who crashed it? Lol! I want to hear about what the streets in georgetown looked like, they are suppose to look amazing. I want to hear about some great christmas miracle or story.
Marlon, My daughter is a veg and while I am not it is good to have the option. Jessica lives in Boston but consults for some foodinistas in Boulder regarding the changing of the traditional pyramid for school lunches.

In addition I would like to say Thank You and Jarod again for the Halloween 2009. I am grateful to have friends who actually think and speak and walk their talk and live it. For Thanksgiving to you and Jarod;

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have, into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow." -- Melody Beattie

I so agree with the feelings about music. I can listen songs my mom use to play and feel like I am back in my family living room. I can hear a song for a pom pom routine I did and still see the movements from that routine. I hear a song from a movie and it brings me back to that movie. I must say that I am very disappointed when I hear say "taking care of business" and its from office depot!!! Its only strange how you can hear a song from a time and place when you were not even born, yet you feel something in that song. I think we just like the fact that we have feelings for these songs, it shows we have not become robots. My mom had on LP's all day long, and I hope that gave me the appreciation for music that I have now. You are a sensitive person and of course you will have great feelings from songs.

Music is a comfort to me and it is the songs I know best that offer that comfort. When I was going out to clubs more or listening to the radio, creating a CD I would hunt down new music, but since the music I enjoy is just for me, I enjoy my old songs. I agree with you that feelings are stored up in music and perhaps that is one of the reasons my music doesn't change much. We always did look at music differently. While music doesn't change as much other parts do, my DVD collection is always changing and growing and I read many different books perhaps it is those collections that show more my future and present while music holds the past. It is a interesting thought.

Oh my god! Those are the best pictures. He totally captured the feel of the party. That pinhead guy totally freaked me out because his costume was so realistic. The picture with you in the coffin with him in the backround is amazing. Ÿour costume works perfectly with the pictures. It plays differently then when I just say it. The lighting on the oictures cannot be better. Who was the girl in the picture with you, I totally want her wig! I wish we would have taken video and out it on you tube. Next year!

Magic is there, even if you don't hold on to it or believe. Your party was magic and I do think the guests held on to some part of your vision. The pictures did show the party at all its greatness. While some parts of the party might seem to have illusions there also was family, friends and fun. That is as real as it gets.
